Yes, vote by mail is the safest way to ensure your voice is heard on Election Day.  Don't let an unexpected event keep you from the polld.  Learn more about the benefits and deadlines to vote by mail.  

• Apply for a mail-in ballot no later than October 27 – preferably much earlier! -- at vote.pa.gov or the county elections office, Downtown. 
• The county elections office must receive your completed ballot no later than 8 PM Election Day, so mail it well ahead of time. Postmarks don’t count. You cannot turn in your mail-in ballot at your polling place. Usually the county elections office, Downtown, accepts drop-offs on Election Day and a few days before. 

To vote in Pennsylvania, you must first register to vote at least 15 days before an election.  You can register online, by mail, or at a number of govenrment agencies.  Read more about voter registration in Pennsylvania.
